Ms. B-haved
Sally Burkett is in disgrace! Suspended from Littleman Junior School amidst a scandal unlike any other. Sally thought that her 30 years of teaching had given her immunity to scandal, but the “much loved” Ms Burkett rocked the small school and town, and now she awaits her fate. She has worked hard to navigate changing policies, updated learning styles, and new age parents–what could she possibly have done to send her into this purgatory, and can she recover? Laugh along with Sally as she ponders her fate, and unpacks what brought her to the particular hell of Zoom teaching online!
Ms. B-haved made its debut at the National Arts Festival in Makhanda. It is a look at the extremes expected from educators, parents and learners in an ever changing world and the reaches of cancel culture that have become the norm.Written and performed by Sue Diepeveen Directed by Natasha Sutherland in her directorial debut.
Lighting design by Wicus LouwAudience Feedback:
'...Great variation between humour and pathos and light ness and heaviness.''Those who are about to watch are in for a treat.'

Old School Country Legends Tribute
James Marais and Monique Cassells are renowned for their “oldies music” tribute shows, and they are now bringing their “Old School Country Legends Tribute” back to The Drama Factory. Just as with their previous shows, this Old School Country tribute is a mini-theatrical experience, featuring the dynamic vocal and visual performances of James and Monique, alternating as a duo and individual performers, who also do multiple costume changes throughout. You can expect to hear music by Country legends including Johnny Cash, Don Williams, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers, Pussycat, The Bellamy Brothers and many more.
James and Monique are a powerful duo and perform some wonderful duets in the show by artists such as Johnny Cash and June Carter (“Jackson”), Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton (“Islands in the Stream”), as well as songs not originally performed as a duet, such as Merle Haggard’s “Somewhere Between”. Other great Country artists represented include Charley Pride (“Kiss an Angel Good Morning”), Pussycat (“Mississippi”) and the Bellamy Brothers (“Let Your Love Flow”). Country classics by the iconic Elvis Presley and the great Creedence Clearwater Revival will also be included.
Bring along your Country hat, belt and boots, and come and enjoy a tribute to some of the greatest Old School Country songs of all time!

Hy is ongelooflik talentvol.” Creative Team: Adapted and Directed by Frans Swart Asistant Director, Ana van Achterbergh Performed by Botha Enslin

Born To Diva
Following her successful run of "Growing Old Disgracefully" last year, internationally renowned cabaret artist Tonya Koenderman is back, with her critically acclaimed show, "Born to Diva". The show promises to be a musical feast. All your old favorites are featured: Tina Turner, Shirley Bassey, Barbra Streisand, Nina Simone, and Liza Minnelli amongst others. Tonya adds her own saucy touch to evergreens: "Diamonds are forever", "My Baby Just Cares for me", "Pata Pata", "Special Star", "Simply the Best", "Nutbush City Limits", "Proud Mary", "All That Jazz, and "New York New York" and more Critics have described the show as “Sizzling!”, “Captivating” and “Top class cabaret”. What the critics said: Tonya Koenderman's svelte frame belies the diva-like magnitude of her voice which soars and subsides with enviable control as the vivacious songstress tackles serial thrillers by anyone from Minnelli to Tina Turner. It takes some doing to get Capetonians to rise to their feet on a Tuesday evening , but this she did effortlessly... - Jeremy Dowson, Cape Times. Tonya reaches new heights with this slick performance. I've seen Tonya several times over the past six or seven years but have seldom seen her reach the heights she did here on opening night. -mIan Gray, Grahamstown Festival "Top class cabaret from a consummate performer...her take on Tina Turner comes pretty close to the real thing." - The Herald Bob Eveleigh

Die Reisigers - Luna Paige
Luna Paige se 'Die Reisigers' is hier.
