Conrad Koch & Chester Missing's PUPPET POWER
*** STANDARD BANK OVATION AWARD WINNER 2025***
Hilarious world class comedy ventriloquism from South Africa’s most acclaimed ventriloquist Conrad Koch, with his riotous gang of puppet characters, including the notorious Chester Missing of TV fame, Hilton the ostrich, Mr Dixon, high school teacher, a German mosquito, and more. He’ll even turn an audience member into a talking T. Rex, big teeth and all.
Conrad Koch is South Africa’s double Emmy nominated ventriloquist, and second most famous puppeteer after Elon Musk. His most famous puppet, Chester Missing, of TV and TikTok fame, resents being a puppet and has a lot to say about it. But we are all someone’s puppet in some way aren’t we? Married people, you know what we mean. This hilarious ensemble includes the likes of Hilton, party ostrich, Gunter, recently divorced German mosquito, Mr Dixon, high school teacher who does not like to be manipulated, DJ Hoodie, the puppet who actually DJs, and newcomer to the show, wannabe celebrity chef and real life rat, Gordon Ratsy. Expect a laugh-a-second ride of Muppets-for-big-people comedy, audience interaction and light social commentary, with a monster ending where Conrad turns someone into a terrifyingly funny talking dinosaur. Mel Die Storieverteller - Internet Sensasie
Mel laat jou tuis voel. Jy WIL luister wat sy sê. En dan lag jy boonop baie."
- Margit Meyer-Rödenbeck "Vars, oorspronklik en vrek snaaks."

The school drop off zone has become a hotbed of gossip; the guessing game surrounding her scandal is jamming all the parent group apps. Come laugh along with firecracker Sally as she ponders her fate, whilst unpacking what brought her to her current hell of zoom teaching online!Ms.B-haved explores the extremes expected from educators, parents and learners in an ever-shifting world and the reaches of ‘cancel culture’ that have become the norm.
