Best loved local artists Angie Mitchell and Ant Kinsey are teaming up for another of our 'hot to trot' dance nights.  With great dance tunes from the 70's to the 25's we are looking forward to this co-lab from two of our firm faves!   Put on your dancing shoes and come and dance the night away as we turn the stage into a dance floor.

Vrou met 27 Kinders is ’n roerende verhaal van liefde, verlies en moederhart. Vernon, ’n beeldhouer, maak jaar na jaar houtbabas vir sy kinderlose vrou, Engel. Vir haar is dit nie net beelde nie – dis haar kinders. Ná sy dood dreig die wêreld om selfs dit van haar weg te neem. ’n Ontroerende reis oor dieper verlange en onwrikbare liefde. Met Petru Wessels se kragtige vertolking en Carel Trichardt se regie, is hierdie produksie ’n meesterstuk wat diep onder die vel kruip. Engel se wêreld van verbeelding bots met realiteit wanneer ander haar kinders as museumstukke begin sien. Die stuk vra vrae oor wat dit beteken om ’n ma te wees, selfs sonder biologiese kinders, en hoe rou en herinnering verweef raak in die alledaagse. “Petru Wessels bring Engel só lewendig na vore, jy vergeet dis teater.” Die produksie het gehore by die KKNK 2025 aangegryp en word beskryf as “een van daardie stories wat lank by jou bly.”

Godfrey Johnson and Aletia Upstairs are a two of only a handful of South African artists who understand the essence of cabaret. In this talk-show style cabaret they share comedy, original music and classic duets.

Following the overwhelming response to their production Extracts of SALT last year, dynamic ballet company Cape Ballet Africa returns for a limited second season. Hot off the stage from their recent exceptional debut at Artscape Opera House, the company presents INTERMEZZO, a gentle, captivating and cathartic artistic offering, set to some of Tchaikovsky’s most-loved ballet music in Celebrating Tchaikovsky; and a new staging of the choreography Desiderata inspired by the iconic poem Max Ehrmann, which will be narrated by acclaimed actor Marcel Meyer. Celebrating Tchaikovsky features the composers’ most loved works for ballet including The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. A selection of iconic tunes form the basis for this suite profiling the beautiful artists of Cape Ballet Africa. James Marais and Monique Cassells’ popular oldies tribute show, “A Trip Down Memory Lane”, features songs by the artists you know and love from the 1950s, ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, such as Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Cliff Richard, the Everly Brothers, Cher, the Platters and Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Roy Orbison, ABBA and Queen. The show is a mini-theatrical experience, featuring the dynamic vocal and visual performances of James and Monique, alternating as a duo and individual performers, who also do multiple costume changes throughout.
James and Monique will also perform exciting duets of legendary songs. “A Trip Down Memory Lane” provides the kind of fun, colourful and entertaining show that audiences have come to expect from James and Monique.
